Early Childhood Educator
My name is Lori Haubert.
I am the owner of The Lion and His Lambs Preschool. I have been in the early childhood industry for 25+ years.
I have a level 3 Credential. More information on this can be found on the CDEC website.
Colorado Shines is a credentialing program for Early Childhood Educators of which I am currently at level 4. WebSite https://decl.my.salesforce-sites.com/program_details?id=0011J00001BIQxfQAH
I have my CDA, Child Development Associate designation.
I am certified as an Early Childhood Educator through Red Rocks Community College.
I have been CPR/First Aid Certified for over 20 years.
I have worked in private preschools, public preschools and childcare center. I am currently a licensed family child care home and a designated Universal Preschool Provider.
My philosophy is based on my education and experience. Children learn best by doing, using as many of their senses as possible, and being in a safe environment. It is a safe environment where a child can feel safe and at ease that allows their brain to grow with these experiences and social/emotional interactions. I therefore offer a variety of activities and opportunities each day.
On a personal note..
I am a Colorado Native born right here in Denver. I graduated from Westminster High School and attended Metropolitan State University. The majority of my life I have lived here in this beautiful state!
I have been married over 35 years to another Colorado Native. My two children are grown with families of their own! This makes me a Nana to 2 amazing grandkids and a adorable grand-dogs!
I believe in Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I strive to live the life He would want me to, which includes loving all who I come in contact with, have a moral compass, depend on Him each day and work in a manner that is worthy of the wage I am paid.
